About Sarah's RV rentals

Welcome to our Happy Camper! We are life long Alaskans who love hosting. We have other properties that we use for hospitality services and we thoroughly enjoy interacting with people visiting our great state. My husband moved to Palmer as a young child and I was born right in Anchorage. I grew up in the bush with my parents in a dry cabin. We had a dog sled team we used for transportation during the winters and we moved all over the state. I credit them with my sense of adventure and appreciation for a wild and full life and I encourage everyone to do the same. We have two spirited daughters who keep us on our feet, 2 golden retriever's, 14 chickens, 6 goats and between us three businesses. It is a full and wonderful life and we look forward to hosting you, sharing our experiences if you choose so and assisting with your trip. Cheers! Sarah and Jason Palenske

We always knew our honeymoon would be in Alaska but our decision to make it a road trip was a recent one, and still went more smoothly than we might’ve imagined. Communication and instructions with Sarah and Jason were clear and easy and using the van quickly became intuitive- good since it was our first time in one. She was as easy to drive as my work van, much more comfortable and way more fun and the perfect choice for a 2 week drive up and down the state. They’ll be highly recommended.
Thanks again Sarah and Jason. This won’t be the last time we visit.

The van is perfect! The description says fully loaded and it really is! It has all the cool after market Revel gear and is exactly how I would set up my own van. Very comfortable to drive, lots of power and the mileage is reasonable. Slept as well in the van bed as I do at home. Memory foam mattress and topper. Used the heck out of the instapot. Always had plenty of power and water. Had the range to confidently go anywhere we wanted. I could go on and on. Sarah was very communicative and her husband made sure to take the time to show me all the features at pickup. If I get the chance I’ll do this all over again with the same van.

This was our first camper van trip and it was quite fun in this beautiful van. It was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed for our road trip.

We had a wonderful time roaming thru southern Alaska. The RV was perfect and so were Sarah and Jason! Great hosts. So accommodating. Would rent from them again in a heartbeat.
