My husband and I grew up camping with our parents and continued that tradition with our 2 children who now have children of their own, so we get to enjoy camping with our 3, soon to be 4, grandkids. We started camping in tents and moved up to a tent trailer and then to pull trailer and now onto a motorhome. We enjoyed many years of camping in a seasonal site and now explore other parts of the country in our motorhome. We live 1 hour drive from Banff and enjoy the mountains and all they have to offer. We enjoy camping in the Banff National Park as well as Fairmont Hot Springs in BC, our grandkids love the hot springs as do we. For our first camping trip in Canada, we luckily found Stanley (Shelley’s RV). This was for us the best choice possible. Everything went incredible smooth. We picked up Stanley in Calgary and got an extensive introduction by Shelley explaining us all functionalities and the equipment of the RV. Stanley is incredibly well equipped with everything you could ever need on a camping trip. There is even a bear spray on board (luckily we do not needed it). Here you can see that Shelley and her husband are dedicated campers with year long camping experience. The condition of the RV is very good. The entire equipment is new and the RV is very clean and comfortably furnished. Shelley even provided us with a baby bouncer for our 9 months old daughter.
Calgary as starting point is excellent for an extensive camping trip, there are so many impressive National parks close by. We were 22 days on the road and visited among other Banff, Lake Louise, Revelstoke, Okanagan Lake, Hope and Vancouver. In August it is definitely recommended to book the campsites in advance, nearly all campsites were fully booked. Throughout the entire trip we stayed in contact with Shelley and she was giving us several tips and tricks for our route and on how best handle Stanley. Thank you so much Shelley for always being available and for providing us with so much great information.
All in all one can say that this trip was one of the best in our life! The value for money of Stanley (the RV) is excellent.

It was a wonderful experience renting Stella! Our host Shelley was super helpful with any questions I had prior to our trip and before we took off on our adventures. Our RV Stella was amazing, she got us to where we needed to go with no issues and our wonderful hosts stocked her up with everything we could have possibly needed which made our trip so stress free and allow us to enjoy each moment to the fullest! The bed was so comfortable we got the best night sleep ever every single night and everything was just so cozy and enjoyable. We hope to take a trip with Stella again in the future!

I cannot fault our experience with Stanley, and his wonderful owners! Ever since we booked our trip, Shelley has made us feel like she was just as excited as we were to experience the Rockies in Stanley!

My wife and I are from Germany and have a little Baby. We are accustomed to camping in Europe but now we wanted to make our first trip in Canada. And what better way would there be than by motorhome. So we started to search for a ride and luckily found Stanley (Name of Shelleys motorhome).A bit longer:
We started the trip by flying to Calgary where we were picked up by Shelley. Then we got instructed about all the functions and equipment of the motorhome. We can promise, the list in the description is by far not complete. Shelley has packed the motorhome with EVERYTHING you need for a real Canadian camping trip. Even marshmallows and an axe for preparing a campfire. The equipment was brand-new and the RV very clean and cozy. She even put in some extra stuff for our baby.Calgary as base is really great because you can focus on the national parks first, see how much time you have left and adjust your itinerary accordingly. Note that we went in June and didn't have to reserve any of our campsites. That should look quite differently in July and August. We did Calgary, Kananaskis, Canmore, Banff, Lake Louise (stay away from the campground there, it's awfully loud and you need hike to the showers.), Jasper, Wells Gray PP, Kamloops (Restock), Whistler, Squamish, Vancouver, Manning PP, Okanagan Valley, Revelstoke NP, Glacier NP, Yoho NP, Calgary.Sure Stanley is not brand-new and you will get overtaken by trucks day in and out. But you get a real laid-back feeling and you surely don't want to rush it anyways. We had one minor hickup with the transmission, which was repaired for good in no time. Shelley handled the situation very transparently and besides paying for the repair (obviously) also reimbursed our expenses for the cabs from and to the mechanic.Throughout the holiday we kept contact with Shelley to let her know where we are and what we experienced. Also to ask many questions regarding the motorhome and also for recommendations. It was really nice. We are absolutely sure that Shelleys and her husbands first priority is to make the trips of their renter's as convenient and comfortable as possible. Their motto is "Home away from home" and that's really what it was for us.
