I have lived in Whitefish for over 20 years. I am a local science teacher and love spending time outdoors. I am happy to provide ideas and recommendations for exploring northwest Montana. Note: previous 2 bookings were canceled due to a mechanical/ computer issue with the van. It has been resolved and the van is ready to take you on your next adventure.

This was a great wonderful experience for our family of four - two adults and kids aged 14 and 11!
To start, Eric was very good with communication and even worked with us by dropping the van off a short distance from his home - going above and beyond!
The van was easy to drive and use as someone with moderate camping experience. No problems on Going to the Sun road or in busy parking areas.
We had nice weather and only used the outdoor kitchen, which had everything we needed to prepare meals and clean up. We used a heavy duty cooler instead of the electric cooler during our time, but with 2 blocks of ice all of our food stayed cold for 5 days! There was plenty of power to keep phones and small devices charged over the 6 days we used the van.
Sleeping as advertised - I am 5'10" and could just squeeze into the bed. Sleeping is tight for 4 people - but either sleeping 3 in the bed/1 on the floor or 2/2 can be done. Provided sleeping mats were very comfy.
The space saver on top of the van was a great for putting our placing some empty suitcases.
We loved #vanlife!!

We had an awesome time in Eric’s van. Everything you need it right there contained in a well appointed vehicle. It was convenient, easy to drive, and had everything you could want to have a wonderful adventure.

Our family had a great trip traveling thru glacier national park and nice community of whitefish Montana. The campervan was well stocked and comfortable for our entire week. We got a variety of weather and managed to keep dry , warm and cool. Eric was a great host , responsive and welcoming. The highlight was riding “going to the sun” road. One of our best family trips 100% and would happily return.

We had an amazing experience with this van! The minimalistic setup was exactly what we were looking for, and we absolutely loved it. It was easy to drive and navigate, and it allowed us to get to all the places we wanted to see with no issues at all. Eric, the host, was fantastic—very responsive, helpful, and friendly. He made the whole process seamless. Highly recommend!

Eric was an excellent host and provided every little thing we could need to have a smooth relaxing experience in Glacier National Park. The bed was very comfortable and the van having solar power made everything super convenient. We had the option to cook outdoors and indoors and we had all the cookware we needed. Would definitely recommend this vehicle for a memorable van camping experience in Glacier!

Eric is a really fantastic host. He communicates extremely well, was very friendly and helpful with great suggestions throughout our trip, and is very easy to work with. Nearly everything you could want/need is packed into this van. Bear spray, enos, camp chairs, extra propane, Bluetooth speakers and other non-essentials that aren’t required, but make things a lot easier and more enjoyable.

My wife and I spent a week at Glacier National Park in Eric's campervan. We loved it! We would definitely rent his van again. He was easy to work with and accommodated our needs with drop off/pick up times, dates, etc. While the comfy bed is a little short, I am 6 ft tall and did not have trouble sleeping in it. Eric provided two sleeping bags to use as extra blankets. He also supplied a couple of beach towels and bath towels upon our request. He gave us fresh water to use that was in a large container, a really nice camping stove to use outside, and a propane fire pit. What a great week!

Our trip with Eric’s van was amazing. Eric was incredibly communicative, flexible, and helpful. Pickup and drop off were seamless. The van was really well stocked. We had everything we needed from outdoor kitchen equipment, to plates and cups, to bear spray, to even extra chargers for our phones. We really just needed to show up with food and we would’ve been fully equipped. If you’re used to camping, this will be a breeze for you. The interior of the van is roomy and we never felt cramped. We’re both 5’6” and slept comfortably in the bed. I think if you’re any taller than 5’8” you’d need to curl up a little but we both were able to be fully spread out and sleep. The van handled the roads of Glacier National Park well and was awesome on gas. I’d highly recommend Eric’s van for your trip.
