The van was basic with minimal low standard equipment not really suitable for self catering or spending the evening in as it has no lighting (we were warned the light was not connected to the leisure battery so shouldn’t use it). Jacquelyn was always quick at responding although we did find her rather hostile at times. However her husband was pleasant and helpful when showing us around the van and in arranging the van drop off. Van location is inaccurate it is in fact located at North Shore so transfer will add on a lot of money. Jacequelyn will help with this but only if it works on her terms and still charges. A van is a great way to explore North Shore, just be aware of the limitations of this van and the hidden costs you will incur.

We loved exploring O'ahu in the Aloha Ranger! It was a great fit for me, my husband, and my one year-old son. It drove well and had everything we needed for camping and for some great beach days! Jacquelyn was very responsive and gave us some great recommendations.

We had the best time with this van! We drove around a ton and only had to fill up the gas tank once. Jacquelyn was great with communication and her and her husband explained everything to us thoroughly when we got there. The van was in great shape and they lent us boogie boards and snorkeling gear which was an added bonus.

We could not have asked for a better experience. Jacquelyn and Greg were incredibly accommodating. Everything was as expected. We were able to easily prepare meals with the supplies that were in the vehicle for cooking. This was a big money saver. We really enjoyed having our 'portable living room' for the trip with two boys, 9 and 11. It was great to have an easy place to have some down time now and then. We were able to sleep two adults downstairs and one adult and his two kids upstairs. It was cozy up top but totally doable.

Our VW rental was absolutely incredible. Our host went above and beyond helping us out with information. We will definitely rent from Jacquelyn during our next stay in Oahu.

Cozy and classic.
The roof can lifted so, We could stand even though in the car.
Owner family was really kind and they gave us new households.
We could feel the fresh air with this car.
Automatic drive really easy for me.

Loved everything about this van! Made our visit to Oahu seemless, fun, and full of adventure. Sleep in the pop up. The breeze and sound of the ocean was magical.

Awesome RV!!! Jacquelyn was great to work with. The slide outs make the space large and usable. The side and backup cameas and power train make it easy to drive despite how large it is. I especially appreciated the additional creature comforts like the DVD player at the bunk room couch for the kids to watch while driving long distances, the toddler sized bathtub the easy to wipe down upholstery, and the broom and stick vacuum to clean things clean. The kitchen also had a great sink and expandable counter for preparing food. Although the kitchen is fully stocked I would recommend bringing paper plates, the glassware is pretty heavy and an RV kitchen is just not big enough to do dishes for a large family. Thank you for the opportunity we will definitely be contacting you again for future rentals!!
