We are Arnout and Melinda Pieterse and we are based in Douglasdale in southeast Calgary, about 25 minutes from Calgary Airport. We have a passion for travel, the outdoors, and helping others experience the freedom of RV life. We got into RVing ten years ago as a family-friendly way to enjoy a road trip to explore North America, and have been hooked to RVing ever since. We take pride in making sure every guest has a smooth and memorable trip. We keep our RV clean, well-maintained, and fully ready for the road. With every guest we walk through everything before your trip, especially if you’re new to RVing. My goal is to make the experience easy, stress-free, and enjoyable from start to finish.

Arnaut is very friendly and detailed on explaining various features of RV. I accidentally hit the RV with a tree during parking. He is very cordial after explaining the incident. Only issue on damage insurance and how to deal with it is not clear.

We rented the RV for three nights in July. Pickup was easy - we spent some time with Arnout and he went through everything that we needed to know to enjoy smooth operation of the unit. Arnout also provide a binder that contained important information and instructions, all clearly laid out. The unit was clean and ready for us to drive off and enjoy our camping trip. Arnout also went with me for an initial short drive to provide hints on safe operation of the unit as it is both higher and longer than vehicles I was used to driving. Drop-off was also quick and easy. All in all, a great rental.

Arnout was very organized and thorough in orienting us to this rv. We had never used an rv before, so his clear instructions were much appreciated. This vehicle is truly retro and driving it was pretty fun. We didn't have any mechanical issues, but sometimes it took a couple tries for the engine to turn over. Maybe that's just how it always is with a carburetor. Would definitely trust Arnout and Melinda with a rental again.

Great RV, with a thorough introduction from Pieterse, along with a very detailed user guide on all aspects of using and driving the RV. All parts were in great working order. The queen bed was extremely comfortable. We camped 3 night of which was rainy and cold. We were warm and comfortable for our entire trip.

We had such a wonderful experience with Arnout and Melinda’s RV! The vehicle itself is beautifully renovated and very practically designed. You have everything you need for camping and the hosts made it very easy for us to operate seeing as my husband and I are beginners. Arnout and Melinda were very quick to respond to our messages and were very flexible and accommodating with our travel requests. We would highly recommend this host/RV!

If you want to discover the Rockies with a roomy, well-equipped, and reliable RV, Anrout's RV is your choice. Big cooler, freezer, and comfy couch, Check-in and check-out were smooth and checklist driven.
