This was our first time using Outdoorsy, and unfortunately, it was not a positive experience.
The biggest issue was the reliability of the trailer. About halfway to our destination, we experienced a tire blowout. What should have been a 2.5-hour drive turned into a 9-hour ordeal before we finally arrived. It was extremely stressful and put a damper on our family camping trip from the start.
The trailer was also not as clean as we expected when we picked it up. In fact, we returned it cleaner than we received it.
In addition, we had issues with both the generator and the Bluetooth leveling app, which were unreliable and added to the frustration throughout the trip.
Overall, the condition and performance of the trailer did not meet our expectations. Given the tire failure, cleanliness concerns, and equipment issues, paying full price for this rental does not feel justified. We expected a safe, clean, and fully functional trailer, and unfortunately, that was not the experience we received.
As first-time renters, this experience was disappointing and makes it difficult for us to confidently recommend this rental to others.

Everything was awesome! Derek was super responsive and helpful. The camper was exactly as described, everything worked great. Would 100% rent this camper again.

Great communication, excellent walk through and assistance at pick-up and drop off. CeCe provided a great base for a rainy, cool, off grid Memorial Day weekend.

This trailer was awesome! Towed really easily while providing plenty of room for my dog and I on a weekend biking trip. Derek is a great host; he explained everything thoroughly and had the trailer set up perfectly for my weekend. Would definitely rent this trailer again!

A fantastic camper for our family for southern Utah. Easy pick-up and drop-off. The host helped explain all the parts of the trailer, and included many extras that made our trip easier. Simple 'hacks' like a paper towel holder and bed curtains naturally fit our family's rhythm.

Derek was a great host. He was very communicative about pre trip planning and super helpful. The Mantis is really nice and has everything you need. Including some nice special touches like hot sauce, and a mattress topper. We took it for a week of winter camping in the desert with our toddler. We were all really warm and comfortable. If you are renting in winter make sure to include the solar panels. It was a wonderful adventure and Derek really made it easier for us. Thanks!

This was our 1st time booking and our 1st time visiting the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks... thanks to Derek and his awesome trailer, it was an exceptional experience and one that I will never forget.

We had a great experience with derricks mantis trailer! It was very well stocked and extremely well organized. The trailer itself is incredibly user-friendly and slept two adults and a large teenager nicely.
