About Melissa & David's RV rentals
Our family of 4 have enjoyed several adventures in Miss Lexi - our 2009 Lexington Riviera Class C. We spent a few weeks trekking cross country this spring. We really enjoy RV adventures and hope that others can enjoy a little break from the daily grind in "Miss Lexi" We are committed to providing a great RV experience for your family.

My first experience renting an RV . I cannot say enough how horrible this experience was. While the owners of the RV were nice ...the RV was not able to be used for the entire trip other than for driving. The ac in the back did not work...so we were stuck in Tex as heat. The refrigerator never worked on propane and barely worked when plugged in. We lost all the food we took with us. The owner did get the ac fixed but it still did not work enough to be able to even use the RV...it was at least 85 degrees inside the RV. I wound up spending 3500 dollars for hotels...food...the dogs to be able to stay in hotels that I hadn't planned on spending. Thankfully l had enough money with me to be able to take care of everyone. I had paid for campgrounds in advance that l couldn't cancel so l lost that money as well because we couldn't stay there. The shower in the RV also did not work...it was cracked and the bolt on the hot water heater was not tightened....water was pouring out of it. The door to the RV did not shut. We had to go to Lowes and get tools to fix this so we could drive without it blowing open. Overall just a frustrating trip. I spent the entire 12 days either fixing something... listening to someone complain about something not working... trying to find a hotel that would accept my pitbull.. ordering food for 4 people... driving to the next hotel...l never unpacked anything... tried my new camping chairs... nothing...just drove to hotel after hotel after hotel..
That was it.... total waste and l spent upwards of 6000 dollars....only good thing l did get my 3 legged rescue dog l rented this RV for to drive to Texas to get..
So not a total failure.

We had a great trip. There was absolutely no issues. The hosts were so helpful and answered all of our questions immediately. The RV was clean, everything was functioning and the RV drove perfectly. We would definitely rent this RV again.
