Just me and my husband nowadays with the kids grown. We love heading to the beach or taking those shorter trips to the lake for an extended weekend. Our favorite 'just down the road' place is probably Lake Whitney State Park. We originally started RVing to bring the family back together once the kids were teens and thought they had all the answers! Camping was our way to reconnect as a family. The kids grew to love it they started asking us to go out more and more and would bring their friends. Now, as young adults, they still ask if they can schedule camping trips with us to reconnect. Taking the RV out has been the best memory making trips we have had as a family!
