We have a great time with this RV! It was super clean and everything worked perfectly for the entire trip. Would definitely rent again!

There were a number of porblems that came up despite inspections that were done at the owners expense prior to renting so I don't blame owner, just the mechanics who certified the RV. I hope he gets his money back. David is very responsive and well intentioned and did his best to address problems. As long as he gets a better service team for RV, then I would reccomend renting from him. His responsiveness and customer service were very good.

Overall, our experience with David's RV wasn't exactly positive. Although we are not RV experts, we struggled with several things during our trip. Here is an list of the issues we encountered:The RV was far from being clean when we picked it up:
Wood dust in some cupboards/drawers, we had to lay a trash bag to put our food items in one of the drawers
There was a lot of dust and dog hair everywhere (corners, toilet, shower etc.)
We found chips on the bed above the driver/passenger seats
Some dishes/pots weren’t clean
We found many food items (open bags of crackers etc.) and random items in cupboards (lamp with lamp shade etc.) taking unneeded space, we had to remove stuff to make room for our own food.As for the state of the RV itself, we struggled using everything advertised because some things weren’t ready for use at time of pickup, others were missing etc.:
2 seats belts were missing, we only found 4 out of 6
The water tank was empty when we picked up the RV unlike advertised
The fridge and stove weren’t on, prior to pickup. David turned on the fridge in front of us (meaning that we wouldn’t have a cold fridge for the first 12 hours…) After 6 hours, we noticed that the fridge was still warm, and that’s because the propane tank was on OFF. Once propane was on, fridge took almost 12 hours to cool off. We should have picked up the RV with a cold fridge. We almost lost our food on day 1.
We had no hot water during our whole trip. David was unable to troubleshoot the reason we didn’t have hot water based on pictures and information I sent him.
The oven didn’t work
Some lights and blinds weren’t working
The black water “signal” light was malfunctioning, it shows full when empty, and empty when full. That confused us a bit. We don’t know for sure whether we picked up the RV with an empty black water tank.
One of the batteries (under the back stairs) was leaking and we don’t think it worked. This had us scratching our heads when we were trying to get some of the appliances to work.
Probably the biggest pain point for us was the fact that the fridge smelled like chemicals (wipes or bathroom cleaner scent). After a few days, the 2/3 of our food items not only smelled but also tasted like chemicals. We had to throw out several food items.

Quick trip on a whim to head down to the Kentucky Derby, and David was amazing to make it happen. So pleasant and great communication. We didn’t use anything in the kitchen, except the fridge which worked well. We were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the beds were and the extra cushions David had over the mattress. Super easy to drive and nothing but positive feedback. Thanks again!

David was great to deal with from the start. Walk around and explanation of operations of the RV was quick and easy. Everything on the RV functioned as it should.

This trip with David’s RV was great. He is friendly and responsive. We had no issues. Would definitely recommend renting from him and we would use him in the future if we are ever in the area again.

Very nice motorhome. Easy to drive and maneuver. Easy set up and take down and everything worked perfectly! David is very helpful and easy to work with. I would definitely rent again!!

It was our first RV experience. Entirely our fault, it was a little rough getting started. We were late so Dave couldn’t be there to hand hold us through the RV training. His son, Morgan, did a nice job. They had videos, which I highly recommend, that need editing, but as a video editor, first drafts always need editing. Dave was there was questions all along the trip, even into the night. Due to our own chance of plans, we had to set up and breakdown 4 times which is a lot for a 4 night trip! I recommend bringing another vehicle in tow if you want to drive to site see. Mobility and expenses are easier. We enjoyed the U P in MI. Dave’s RV was clean with little issues that were explained on the video. We didn’t seem to have a key for the side RV door but they may be our inexperience. We made it work though and kept his RV safe. Dave’s availability and sense of humor helped tremendously. Recommend him!

David was very easy to work with and explained all the necessary information clearly. The RV was clean and nicely appointed with plenty of storage. The slide-out provided just enough space to make it very comfortable for two. It was also quite easy to drive and maneuver. A great experience for this first-time RV user.
