About Catherine R.'s RV rentals
My name is Catherine R. Loanzon and I am a native San Diego lady. I'm a wife, mother to 3 beautiful children & an outdoor crazy kind of girl for sure. I love being outdoors regardless of the fact that I am allergic to nature. I would love for you to enjoy our trailer just as much as we do. This type of living allows you and your family, friends and anyone you meet along the way to make amazing new memories filled with activities, campfires, exploring and more.

Host was very nice, which is why I bumped up my two stars to three. Communication was poor. I asked if we could get the trailer dropped off earlier since we found out space was empty. The night before, she told me that they would drop off by 1:00 p.m., which was fine. However, the next morning at 9:00 a.m. she told me that they would drop off at 11:00 am.At that point we didn't have enough notification since my sister was coming from 2 hours away. Therefore, we didn't have enough time to get there by 11:00. A.m.
In addition, everything was an upcharge. In the past when I've rented from families. Usually the use of pots and pans, spices, etc. Are all included. With this host. Everything was an upcharge. She told me the only things included were sheets and blankets. Chairs, toiletries plates, silverware, pots, pans were all extra. Therefore I was very clear that I would bring all of my own stuff. Upon arrival. The host had the camper packed with her in all of her families own belongings. There was extremely little space for our belongings. Storage under the bed was occupied by chairs. Storage in the cabinets were occupied by her own pots and pans. Silverware, toiletries, Christmas decorations, etc. Therefore, we ended up with two small areas that we could actually put our belongings in. The rest we had to leave in the middle of the RV. Usually if someone is going to charge you for the extras and you decline then those items should be removed. I brought all my own pots and pans, silverware, toiletries, spices, cherries etc. And we had nowhere to put our own belongings. This was extremely frustrating. She did communicate that this was only their third time renting out the RV, which could be the reason why things did not go so smoothly. I hope that this feedback will help the host see things from the renter's point of view. If she is going to keep all of her own belongings in the RV, maybe don't have the renter bring their own as well.
