About Stephine's RV rentals
I am a wife and mother to 2 beautiful children! We love to spend time together as a family and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Camping allows us to put away everyday worries and enjoy the outdoors and time spent with each other. Our favorite places to visit are Hawthorn on Lake Oologah and Flat Rock Creek on Fort Gibson Lake.

This experience was a bit of a nightmare!
The cost is ridiculous! The nightly rate is fine: $115 per night
Here's what else they get you for:
144.75 insurance (which is primarily for when you are driving/towing)
150 delivery
75 black water dumping
service fee 82.20
32.97 sales tax!
That's just from Outdoorsy! And let's not forget the security deposit of $1500 (this is refundable).
Total charged from Outdoorsy: $944.92 (4 nights)
Now, let's break that down further: We didn't tow the camper at all! The owner delivered it to the camp site we chose (after we found out the day before that the site rental was not covered through the owner). Yet! We were forced to pay $144.75 for insurance! The delivery was done by the owner and definitely wasn't $150 worth of work to do that. Black water fee is ridiculous! It was directly connected at the RV park! Not even sure how they come up with $82.20 for a "service fee"
The 1500 security deposit is ridiculous! Outdoorsy already has our credit card info so why do we need to be dinged with a security deposit? Redundant and a rip off!
Now let's move on to the actual staying at the camper! The camper was just ok. The owners are easy to work with but there were issues. Lots of little broken things that just don't work properly. The worst was the last day of our stay it got very cold (around 17 degrees). The owner didn't properly prep the water connections so the water lines completely froze. We had bottled water to get us overnight but what happened next was worse! The heater wasn't working properly. Despite increasing the thermostat temp to 80 degrees, it was literally 62 degrees and falling in the camper! At 9 p.m. that last night we decided we couldn't risk things getting worse so we vacated for our safety. This was during a bit of a snow storm! Now, I just want to add, the owners are not responsible for weather! They were kind and came out twice during our stay to try to fix things.
Outdoorsy, you need to figure out what you are trying to be. What you currently are is not okay.
In addition we had to pay $180 for the camp site.

Stephane was absolutely AMAZING!!!! She went and set up the trailer the night before, so we had a bit more time. The camper was great, everything was clean and worked fantastic. Super accommodating!

Stephine and her husband were a joy to work with! Excellent communication and understanding. Our family would highly recommend renting from them. We towed their trailer from Tulsa to the Buffalo River in Arkansas, then from the Buffalo we went to Table Rock State Park near Branson, and then wrapped up our trip with staying our final nights at Beaver Lake, before heading home. Eight nights total. Everything worked as advertised!
