Registration and Arrival Check-In Procedure - Check-In Time: 1 p.m. - Check-Out Time: 11 a.m. - For check-ins after the office closes (4 pm), your check-in packet will be placed out by the office front door for you to collect upon arrival and will include a map to your site. - We do ask that you be sure to approve our terms and conditions. - A link to the terms and conditions can be found in your reservation confirmation email. - Check out is before 11 a.m. - Late check out (of 4 p.m.) is allowed long as there are no guests with reservations in that same site and arriving on the day of your check out. - There will be a late checkout fee of $20. If there is a conflicting reservation, you will be asked to move to an area that will not be occupied, and the same late check-out fee will apply. - Please check with the park management in order to arrange your late check-out. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager makes the ultimate decision regarding spot placement. Office Hours - Office Hours are 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Campground Seasons - Lost Moose Meadows Campground is open on a seasonal basis. - The Campgrounds season is from opening day on April 15th to closing day on October 31st. - Weather conditions may allow for extended seasons, but that will be at the campground manager's discretion. - We are open all year long for questions and reservations. RV Sites - RV Sites are not on a first-come, first-served basis. - Although Lost Moose Meadows does allow for guest to book a reservation upon arrival, if no sites are available, guests may be turned away. - If there is an issue with your current RV Site, please contact Management prior to moving to another site as we don’t want to create a reservation conflict. - The following lists what is allowed per site with the nightly site fee. Additional fees are also listed. Campsite - One tent allowed per RV Site. - Additional Tents: $5 per tent per day - Two Adults and Two Children per site - Additional Adults: $3 per day per person - Additional Children (17 Years and Younger): $2 per day per person - Two Pets per site - Additional Pets: $2 per day - One vehicle per site. - Travel Trailer or Fifth Wheel/Tow Rig is OK. - Motorhome and vehicle in tow are OK. - ATVs/UTVs are not considered additional vehicles. - Additional passenger vehicle, as long as site parking rules are being followed: $5 per day per vehicle - Electric Vehicle Charging: A separate site will need to be purchased to accommodate the charging of the vehicle. - No vehicle repair or washing of vehicles. - Tree & light fixtures: Please do not tie anything onto the trees. - Customers may not make alterations to existing electrical, water, and sewage connections provided by the Campground. Lock Fee Policy - The $50 lock fee applies per site, not per reservation. As a small RV park, we do our best to welcome as many guests as possible. - To help us manage bookings smoothly, our system may occasionally move your reservation within the same site type (e.g., Meadow View Back-In to another Meadow View Back-In, or East Side Back-In to East Side Back-In). - You won’t be moved to a different type, like from a Pull-Through to an Inner Back-In. - Any move will still fit your rig length and include the same hookups. - If you’re booking multiple sites or want to be placed next to another guest, each site must be locked individually. - If you want to reserve a specific site, a $50 non-refundable lock fee is required. - This fully locks in your site and prevents any changes. Quiet Time - Quiet time within the Campground is from 10 pm to 7 am. - No Generator use Wildlife - Bears have been known to frequent the Lincoln area, as is the case in many parts of Western Montana. - We ask that you help to limit a bear’s reason to pay a visit to Lost Moose Meadows Campground and keep your site clean and free of anything that a bear would find interesting. - Please store BBQ’s, human food, pet food, trash or anything that would be considered and attractant indoors. - If you can’t store it indoors, please make sure you store it in something that you do not care about, as it may not look the same the following morning. - Elk, Deer, and various species of birds also frequent the area. - Please do not cause undue distress to these animals by chasing/scaring them or allowing your pets to show aggression towards them. - These animals are what make Montana so special, and we certainly want to keep them around. - Also, please be mindful that the wildlife in the area can and will attack when provoked, so please watch pets and children when these animals are present. Pets - Here at the Lost Moose Meadows Campground, we understand how important our pets are. - We do not charge for the first two pets, but we do ask that you always keep them on a 6 foot or shorter leash and pick up after them. - For off-leash play, feel free to use the dog park any time you please, but be respectful of others. - Please do not leave your dog unattended/in your RV or your vehicle. - No excessive barking allowed. - Pets must be walked by a person who can control the animal. - Pets are required to be current on vaccinations Campfires - Campfires are allowed within the fire rings, but are subject to local fire restrictions. - It is the responsibility of the guest to manage their fires and make certain that they are cold before leaving the fire ring. WiFi - WiFi is available for your use and enjoyment. - Please do keep in mind that this is provided on a “best-effort” basis and is not guaranteed. Trash - Although there are bear-resistant trash containers located around the campground for your use, we do ask that you place your garbage in a tied garbage bag out in front of your campsite prior to 11 am, but not leave it out overnight. - As a convenience, every day after 11 am, trash will be collected from your site. - Please break down any cardboard boxes and place them under your garbage bags, as all cardboard is recycled. - Any garbage that will not fit in a standard 55-gallon trash container will not be collected. Visitors - Visitors are welcome at Lost Moose Meadows Campground; however, it is the responsibility of the person booking the site to ensure that ALL guests and visitors at their RV Site understand and follow the Campgrounds rules and regulations. - Please be mindful of the parking restrictions. Children - Please do not leave your child unattended at any time. - We want everyone to have fun while being safe. Restrooms & Showers - Feel free to use the restroom/shower facilities. - We only ask that you help to keep them clean by removing anything that was brought in and throwing trash in the garbage cans. - All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by and adult while inside the restrooms & shower buildings. - Washing dishes in the restrooms is strictly prohibited. Driving Policy - Please pay attention when traveling in the park. - Watch for pedestrians and wildlife. - Also, please follow all speed limits and traffic flow signage. Parking - No parking is allowed on either the grass or the roadway. ATV's, UTVs & Other Off-Road Vehicles - Off-road vehicles are welcome at the site. - We do ask that you follow all rules related to vehicles in the park, including Parking and Driving in the campground listed above. - While traveling outside of the Campground, please be courteous when traveling in residential areas. Forms of Payment - Lost Moose Meadows is a Cashless Facility. - All transactions, including site rentals and merchandise, will be made with credit/debit cards. - As a convenience, items may be charged to your original form of payment by charging to your site. Reservations - Upon booking a reservation, full payment is required for stays under 5 days to reserve your site. - Reservations of 5 days or more only require a 20% deposit. - The remainder must be paid 7 days prior to arrival. - Cancellation policies still apply to the entire price of the reservation, not just the deposit amount. Extending your stay - If you decide to extend your stay, please contact management for approval to stay at your current site or to discuss the possibility of moving to another site. - Do not just assume you are able to keep your current site, as there may be reservation conflicts. Smoking/Vaping - No smoking or vaping in any buildings/offices or at the dog park and playground areas.
