Check-In Procedure
- Check-in for campsites is 1:00 PM.
- Check-in for the rental trailer is 3:00 PM.
- Check-out for campsites and rental trailers is 11:00 AM.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.Campsite Occupancy Limit
- A campsite can accommodate no more than 6 persons regardless of age.Vehicles
- Washing of any vehicle or motorhome/trailer is not allowed.
- A campsite can accommodate no more than 2 vehicles.
- No Recreational Vehicles such as ATV’s, UTV’s, dirt bikes, scooters, gas golf carts, etc., are allowed.
- The overflow parking area provides additional parking.
- All motorhomes/trailers and vehicles must be insured and registered in the state they reside.Quiet Hours
- Quiet Hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
- No Generators are allowed during quiet hours.Beach & Playground Hours
- The beach and playground are closed at dusk.Speed Limit
- Speed limit throughout the campground is 5 MPH.Mail Delivery Policy

- Tamworth Campground is a secure facility that utilizes a card-controlled gate system.
- To enter the campground with a vehicle, a key card is required.
- Each reservation includes one (1) key card, which you will receive during check-in.
- A refundable deposit of $25.00 per key card will be charged to the credit card on file.
- This deposit will be forfeited if the key card is not returned at checkout.
- If you need additional key cards, please feel free to request them.Fire Safety
- Campfires are to be lit and contained in the provided fire rings only and extinguished by 11:00 PM as determined by the campground’s current fire permit on file.
- Campfires must never be left unattended.
- Trash burning of any kind is prohibited.
- Out-of-state firewood is prohibited.
- Fires should be extinguished when leaving the campsite or retiring for the night.Trash
- Only household trash is allowed in the dumpsters.
- Dumpsters are placed near the office.
- Please bag your household trash and dispose of it in the dumpsters provided.
- Items not allowed in the dumpsters are cardboard packing materials, styrofoam of any type and size, mattresses & box springs, appliances, furniture, electronics, car batteries, tires, paints & lacquers, propane tanks, fuels, oils and other flammable materials, lawn chairs, lawn furniture, awnings and/or awning frames, barbeques and grills, and anything other than household trash.Visitors
- Visitors are required to check-in and register at the office to enter the campground.
- A Visitor fee is applicable for all visitors, adult and child regardless of age, visiting day or overnight.
- Campground management reserves the right to restrict the number of guests per site at any time.
- Please do not plan events to be held in the park without first notifying the office for review and approval.
- Visitors must leave the park by 10:00 PM unless they have registered and paid as an overnight visitor.Children
- Parents are responsible for their children at all times.
- Children not adhering to the rules set forth in the park will be escorted to their parents and further action may be taken.
- An adult must accompany children under the age of 12 while at the park’s facility buildings and amenities.
- Children 12 years of age or under must be present when swimming.
- For safety reasons, please ensure that your children are playing safely throughout the campground and are abiding by campground rules.
- The playground is available to use from 8:00 AM until dusk.Pets
- We welcome pets if the following policies are followed.
- Proof of current vaccinations should be presented at check-in and available if requested.
- Per new Hampshire's State law, RSA 466:31, dogs are to be always physically leashed and under the control of their owners.
- Pets are the responsibility of the owner.
- Pets may not disturb other guests.
- Barking by your dog(s) is to be controlled and is not to be excessive as to disturb your neighbors, especially during Quiet Hours.
- Pets are not allowed in the playground, water areas/beach or inside campground facilities except where posted.
- Aggressive pet behavior will not be tolerated, and you may be asked to leave your pet at home if aggressive behavior occurs.
- Pets are limited to two (2) per site, unless permission is provided by Campground management in advance.
- Pets are not to be left unattended.
- Do not allow young children to walk your pets if they are not able to control them.
- Always clean up after your pets.
- Campground management reserves the right to restrict disruptive or aggressive breeds from the campground.Alcohol/Smoking/Drugs
- Alcohol is permitted on your site.
- No alcohol is permitted in public and communal areas.
- Legal drinking age is 21 years old.
- Keep your alcohol locked up and not out in the open if you leave your site.
- Alcohol and smoking/vaping are not allowed in the campground’s facility buildings and structures, and recreational areas.
- No illegal drugs are allowed on campground property.
- Campground management will not tolerate any excessive partying or loud noise.
- Any guest failing to comply will be required to leave without exception or refund.
- Verbal or physical violent behavior of any kind will result in immediate expulsion from the campground without exception or refund.Campground Services
- Wi-Fi is available at no cost and is limited to the area around the Campground office.
- Propane is offered for resale and may be purchased at the Campground office.
- Laundry is provided at the laundry facility.
- The machines will require the use of an app.
