Just the best! Every part of our experience with Colorado Overlander was terrific! From the assistance with choosing a vehicle to the pickup and dropoff process. They have thought of everything you need on your adventure!

Dear Zach,• Metal cutlery as plastic knives and forks are not a proper equipment for eating a steak
• Whisk was broken and was dumped by us. For us it seemed to be a weak part.
• Cheese grater is also weak and only works if you handle it with much care
• The build-up of the chairs is very time consuming – folding chairs would be a better option
• Pillows are missing
• The awning is very small. A tarp to span between the vehicle and some trees would be helpful
• The tents are very good, especially in the first week (cold and wet conditions) we have had many trouble that inside the tent everything (sleeping bags, etc.) was wet.
• The 2 metal bars to support the tent were not necessary.
• The build-up and folding of the tents is very time consuming. Roof top tents from James Baroud are much easier to handle.
• The 2 slide-outs are too big. Things con not be stored properly. It is highly recommend to have smaller storage units.
• The tilting fridge is somehow bad as the content can not be stored properly and is very high for small persons. At least for the lid of the fridge please find a solution to hold it open for some seconds, so that one person can take out / in stuff. We thought about a cable between the lid of the fridge and a hook on the trunk tailgate.
• A broom was missing which we bought and left in the vehicle.
• The BBQ was great. A brush for cleaning up the grill was bought and left in the vehicle.
• Can opener / bottle opener / cork screw is missing in the vehicle.
• The water tanks are not practicable. Firstly they are self-opening while driving as the boxes on top have contact, secondly the tanks are built in and you need to take out the ladders and boxes before you get access to the water tank. During the day this is somehow too complicated.
• A small guide for the thing in the car like t solar shower, …. would be helpful. Despite Patrick was explaining us very much in detail it is hard to remember everything.
• The ladders should be fixed rigidly to the roof top tents, so that you do not need to store them in the vehicle while driving.
• The zipper of one sleeping bag is broken and need to be checked.
• A lot of please admired the vehicle but they did not believe that such a vehicle is a rented vehicle. We recommend to add some advertisement sticker like “rent me” and QR code to the vehicle.
• Provide your guests a last small gift which remembers them on their trip with your vehicle (e.g. bottle opener in the size of a credit card with business card infos).

A great trip. The 4Runner was the perfect size for two people and we really enjoyed going off grid for a few days. Zach and Patrick were terrific. Hope to do a trip next year!

My friends and I rented 3 vehicles on our first-ever overlanding experience and had an absolutely epic trip. Zach and the team did a marvelous job helping us plan, prepare and head-out fully capable. First, we had several Zoom calls planning a route based on our goals that also matched the changing weather situation. On day 1, we were met with the vehicles in pristine condition and got a tutorial on all of the gear, systems, etc. I was pleasantly surprised at how much time the team spent with us going over things. There was sense of rush and we got to ask a million questions. By the time we left we knew exactly what to do, where to go, and how to work everything from the fridges to the tire deflators. Not a thing was missing and we even received unexpected goodies to use (tables, lights, gps/nav, and sat phone). The vehicles were equally impressive. Our group is no stranger to off-roading and found each model we rented to be highly, highly capable (we had the Land Cruiser, 4Runner and Tacoma). These machines are expertly modified with top-of-the-line gear from the suspension to the tents. When you pay for an adventure like this you hope for a great experience. Rarely is everything perfect and exceed your expectations. This is one of those experiences. If you want to try overlanding and have an epic trip like we did, you won't go wrong with Colorado Overlander. As a business owner myself, I felt both compelled and obliged to leave this review as this is a company that deserves continued success. Hopefully your trip will be on a different date than the next one I reserve :). Enjoy! -Ayal

We had a wonerfull experience with Colorado Overlander. The dropped the vehicles off at our hotel and picked them up again. Everyone was very friendly and would highly recommend them to anyone who is interested in doing an overlanding trip.

What a blast! You couldn’t find nicer, more knowledgeable, down to earth people to support you on your next overlanding adventure. The Tacoma was extremely capable and outfitted with top notch mods. The suggested routes and gear made all the difference. Zach and Patrick took their time with me and explained vehicles, options and directions. I can’t wait to go back!

The team at Colorado Overlander was very professional. Explained the capability of the truck, walked me through the set up of the roof tent, plus identified all of our camping gear. Also, the gear included was all top of the line. These guys aren’t providing inexpensive and unreliable gear.
