We had a great time camping in this van! It was easy to dive and had everything we needed to enjoy the PNW.

We picked up and returned a van in Portland OR. It handled very well and was easy to drive but had a some problems.
The propane heater was clearly labeled with a warning against use in a confined area. We did not use it as my son died from carbon monoxide poisoning while using a propane heater in a much larger space. The nights were in the mid-40s, so we were quite uncomfortable.
The unsecured table in the rear storage bin often banged as it slid forward and back on steep slopes or quick stops.
The step at the side door extended as expected when the door opened but immediately retracted.
The check valve in sink didn’t work so it was necessary to constantly pump to get water. The valve also leaked water onto the countertop.

We were told that the Coleman stove took a 16oz propane to use but neither of our 16oz propane did not work as if the connector was stripped which left most of our meals we prepped to be pointless without heat, that was extremely disheartening.
We also had to fill up the van when we dropped it off and are confused how we are given “125 free miles per day” if we are responsible for putting upwards of a non refundable $100 of our own money to fill up the tank after the trip. That means we’re responsible for paying for it and they aren’t free. If the company is eluding that getting the van with a full tank is the free aspect then this is just fancy wording because the customer is responsible for filling it back up. The Bluetooth in the van also does not align with the instructions given to connect a phone to the radio so we were playing music from our phones in a cup holder for the driving period which was not convenient. Overall the van was a great experience besides a few of the price gouging requirements.

We had a good experience renting the tear drop trailer. Pickup was easy and they went over the trailer before we took off. The solar panel was very nice nice to have it kept the battery charged during the day. Longest it was disconnected from the truck was about 2 days and we had blue skies the whole 10 days we had the trailer so your mileage might vary with charging the battery. We ran the cooler non-stop for the ten days we had it and it kept our food nice and cold not having to worry about getting ice. We did our trip end of September going through Glacier NP and Yellowstone NP and the temperature did drop down to 18F in Yellowstone but with a down comforter we where nice and cozy. The mattress was comfortable so no problems sleeping. I'm 6'2" and had no problems sleeping in it. Just a couple of things that kept me from giving it 5 stars. The trailer needs some curtains for the windows to have some privacy at night when it is dark and you have the lights on. The other was the locks on the trailer. Just about every lock on the trailer needed to be lubricated. The wheel lock one morning took about 5 minutes of jiggling the key to finally get it unlocked. Ended up having to buy lubricant and lubricated every lock. Overall a good experience and would rent again.

The van was great! Perfect for what we needed and very functional. Great options for add on’s as well when flying out of state. Met the owner while picking up the van and he was awesome! Even sent us a list of suggested places to check out along our route!

Would absolutely do this trip again. We spent 1 solid week traveling from Portland to the redwoods and back up to Portland. The bed slept 3 very comfortably (sometimes better than a hotel). Everything worked and stored 3 peoples gear perfectly. It was easy to keep clean and organized and had tons of storage. I highly recommend using a wandervan for your next trip. We definitely will be using one again. Thanks for the memories!

We had the best time, the drop off option was super convenient and no problem at all. Even when we had little trouble finding the lockbox for the key I got answers in seconds. The pickup was just as easy. The Van we rented was super spacious, had enormous room to store and came with some of the camping equipment (we didn’t have any add- ons, but they provided so many different options!) the Van was so comfortable to drive, so easy to handle. I would recommend to rent from this more than 100% and would love to give more than 5 stars. Honestly- especially in times like these, where renting an apartment or hotel room is not my first choice, this was perfect to get out and stay away from people!

We had a great trip, and Wandervans is a decent, basic option. If you're going for a short trip and just need something easy, this might be a good option for you. There were some details that they thought through well; ease of pick-up and drop off, mosqiuto / bug nets, etc. But there were several areas where the van didn't really meet our expectations.

Great van! A couple minor issues to be expected with a newly outfitted van but all in all it was fantastic. Very comfortable, very easy and nice to drive. The e-cooler is awesome!
