Great experience, really nice people, helpful and the van runs great

Dan, his partner, and the Van were all fantastic! Good people on a great island, the Fishers made sure we had all that we needed to experience the island of Hawai'i in a good way, and comfortably. They even helped us out on New Years Even when we ended up in Volcano without a place to stay, giving us a spot to park at their B&B, and access to washrooms and a much-needed shower. My recommendation is also to take Dan's advice about Hilo and spend some time checking that place out. It's sweet as!The van was awesome. Easier to drive than you'd expect for a big vehicle, the full, queen-size bed was a blessing for my partner and me, giving us enough room to stretch out, relax, and open the back doors to watch the waves crash on a beach (we did this a lot). The van came with all the equipment you could need to live van life easily, and it made a 2 week stretch feel like we belonged on the road. Setting up the side tarp and table really turns a beach camp site into a home and couldn't have been better for sunset cooking, a few drinks, and some cards. The only problem we encountered was near the end of our trip where the driver door was catching on the front panel, so we decided to stop using it. Because of how big the living space is in this van there was no problem getting in and out.

We had an amazing trip with Dan's Van! It is extremely well equipped, drives great and the ventilation system they installed keep the van fresh even under the sunlight. Recommended!

What great hosts! Dan provided me with lots of information regarding good snorkeling and camping spots. He is very knowledgeable and eager to share. The van was perfect! Nice touches such as a custom made table that extends to outside the van so you can sit outside and enjoy a meal, as well as a tarp canopy that can be assembled quickly providing shade and rain cover. Everything I needed was in the van. I would definitely rent again for both the van and the lovely hosts.

We really enjoyed cruising the big island in Danny & Shannon’s camper. Spacious and well put together, it’s an easy drive and handles the road well. Comes with everything you need. Was very relaxing 😎. Danny & Shannon are great hosts and also have a lovely accommodation rental in Volcano. Thanks guys!
