Things started off well. Owners were good to communicate with, we chatted with them before we rented. We met and picked up the camper and went on our 2 day journey. Camper was good. We had agreed upon how we would communicate on our return so that we could meet them to drop off the camper (they met us in a parking lot). All went as planned. They were cordial we had had a good experience...... until a few hours later. We get a message that the owners have kept $100 of our deposit. Their reasoning was we used one of their previously chlorine spotted washcloths to wipe down the counter surfaces with Pinesol, and they were frustrated, said it was to be used only in the shower. Additionally, they claimed we had damaged some screens that were for emergency exits. We were unaware of what they could be referring to and ask for them to send us pictures. They said that it was “hard to see in the pictures but they would send them to us.” We never received the pictures. Seems they just took an opportunity to keep an extra $100 and call it “damage” but with no merit.
