Our honeymoon experience would not have been as great as it was without this van. The bed was more than spacious. We appreciated the added privacy with the curtain and tinted windows. Everything we could have needed during our trip was most likely provided in the van, including stove pots and pans, cooking utensils, a shower, a toilet, and emergency kits. There was plenty of room in the front as well. We didn't feel cramped for space while driving. Customer service was outstanding. Eric checked up on us throughout our trip to make sure we were doing well. He even provided us with a map to locate campsites at the beginning of our trip. I would highly recommend renting a van through Eric!

The van was perfect for our stay. No better way to see Alaska than a van. We slept where we wanted. It was equipped with everything we could possibly need. We had a couple questions over the week and Eric was quick to respond. We TOTALLY we be renting from him again.

We really enjoyed our quick trip to the Kenai peninsula in "Elwood"! We flew into Anchorage and Eric picked us up at the airport and went over the van with us. As mentioned in the listing it is an older van but we absolutely loved our experience in it. We got in late so spent the first night in Cabelas, where a bunch of other RVs & van-lifers were doing the same. The next three nights were: Seward (an awesome spot right by the water), Russian River (lots of salmon but, alas, no bear sightings), and Hope (quite interesting). We dropped the van off at the airport Sat afternoon on our way out. We found the bed to be comfortable (my wife and I are both btw 5'7 & 5'10 - I don't think you could really be any longer than that; I had a little hip pressure but that is to be expected on a trip like this). We didn't cook in the van much (at all) but we made heavy use of the cooler, bluetooth speaker, small electric kettle (I'm getting one of those), jackery, etc. We used the powered shower spray for cleaning off shoes but didn't elect to use if for a shower. I've been trying to talk my wife into a van for years and Elwood definitely nudged her in the right direction!

We had a wonderful time! The van was stocked with all the essentials for camping in Denali and Eric was very helpful and accommodating as well.

We had such a great experience renting from Eric. The van (Joplin) had everything we needed and then some. Bedding, towels, cooking stove and utensils, cooler and even an electric powered hose so we could wash dishes and shower easily.
The van drove well and we had no mechanical issues during our 10 day trip around the Kenai Peninsula and up to Denali.
Eric was super friendly and accommodating and went as far as to pick us up from the airport at midnight. Would absolutely rent from him again if/whenever we come back to Alaska!

Great experience with the host and the camper van. Had a great trip exploring south central Alaska. The host provided all the essential camping equipment to get the trip going and make for a very positive experience.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Eric made everything smooth with clear communication and conveniently picked us up at the airport. The van was perfect for our needs, and all the equipment provided really made the difference. Highly recommended!

Eric was very open and helpful throughout the whole stay. If we had a question he would text us back super fast or if something was more urgent we called and he answered directly. The van is not a luxury camper but well worth its money and equipped with everything needed to go off into the wilderness

This was the first time I’ve lived out of a van for a week and it could not have been a better experience! The van was incredibly easy to use and the amount of amenities was more than I could have asked for. Eric was an incredible communicator. He made the experience 10x better because he was such an awesome person to rent from. I had no issues at all with the van. The bed was comfortable and clean. And the van had enough kitchen equipment that I could put together a decent amount of things from right outside the van. The massive super charging bank was insane and lasted like 3-4 days before I needed to get it re charged. Also the van was great on gas. Overall, I highly recommend and I will definitely be renting from Eric and Co again the next time I’m back in Alaska!

Eric’s van was perfect for our trip in Alaska. It was beyond our expectations. The van is clean, good for driving, great to sleep in, cosy inside as it has been remodelled with wood making it warm for the cold nights, with great storages options. And more than anything else it was well equipped with everything we needed. Eric really thought about everything: cooking kit, batteries, cooler, blankets and much more: shower kit, chairs, table, bear spray, emergency toilets…
We had great communication with Eric, who seemed very concern about us being happy with the rental. Definetly the best options to travel free in Alaska with comfort.
