As tent campers, this was our first experience renting or staying in a RV. We had an excellent trip. There was plenty of space for our coolers as well as additional storage underneath for our camp chairs, small grill, and games we brought. The RV is well stocked. You can just bring your food and clothes and hit the road. Brittany was a pleasure to work with and was quick to reply to any questions we had. We would definitely book again for future trips.

I was hesitant to leave this review as the Taylors were a nice enough group of folks and I have delayed writing this review in the hopes they would have made the decision to credit back some of the costs we put out in reserving their RV and the thousands of extra dollars we spent due to the RV not working properly but it seems that they will not be doing that so I will proceed with the review. As I had said the Taylors were very nice however their RV was not. The trip started with being maced in the eyes by my daughter while driving down the interstate as there was two containers of mace left in the center console one of which was made to look like a pink climbing D ring and was not labeled in any way to know what it was and we should have known from that start how the rest of the trip was going to proceed. The biggest problem and the primary reason for this review and this rating was the built in generator for the RV amd charging capabilities for the RV batteries was not functional and since we were taking a 2 week boondocking trip (They were aware of this prior to our departure) power was an absolute critical neccesity. With no generator we could not run AC nor Heat, refridgerator or freezer, microwave or oven, we had no outlets, no pop out, no hot water or water at all for that matter. Our trip was to Florida and this time of year there is no option of getting a campsite last second so we had to do without all the basic neccesities for enitre trip. The kicker was even when attempting to use the RVs alternator to charge the RV batteries it did not function properly and we could not so much as even charge a cell phone or get any of the propane ignitors to fire with the available power. Conditions were so poor that by the second week we actually had to just breakdown and rent a hotel room for the final 4 days of the trip. To be fair we were in contact with the owners at the beginning (until the batteries on our phones died) and they offered to pay for the repairs if we took it in to have them completed however again in February in Florida there are no rv mechanics available on immediate notice to make any repairs not too mention we were living in the vehicle to be repaired. The generator should have been fired up and tested prior to our arrival especially since it was known we were boondocking and the Taylors admitted they did not run generator prior to us arriving nor had they in their own travels for a great deal of time. They for certain were aware of our plans to boondock as they had offered us a portable black tank to take with us as an additional spare due to the fact we were boondocking and it would be a while in between abilities to dump. We did have a campsite pre booked in the keys for 3 days at the halfway point of our trip and when we arrived there and was able to plug into the hookups RV functioned for the most part as it should with some odds and ends that gave issue but nothing out of the ordinary or worth leaving a review about if not for the issues above and had we been camping at a site the entire time things would have been managable. We were not however camping on a site but for 3 out of 16 days and it was honestly the worst trip we have ever endured which is a shame as it was by far the most expensive and longest vacation we have ever taken. On top of the massive costs to rent RV itself the costs in fuel (5mpg) and the costs for us to have to eat out every meal (no fridge, freezer, oven, microwave) and eventually hotel stays we spent more than triple the anticipated costs and in a nut shell spent 16 days being miserable alternatley sweating (Highs in mid 80s) and freezing (Lows in low 40s) spending 15 thousand dollars for a tent on wheels. Had we have known in advance of the power issues the RV had we could have planned accordingly and perhaps saved our vacation

I appreciate your feedback. I also sincerely apologize that your trip was miserable and the unfortunate event with the mase. That was not removed from the vehicle from a prior renter during our cleaning process. We apologize for that. The mase resembled a Carabiner and was not thought to be dangerous.
